Listen now | This week we begin a four-part series focused on the Worldview Genre. Listen in, or better yet, write along with us as we reveal a writing prompt, brainstorm some ideas, and then speed-write our way through a ten-minute draft. CAST Mary Mack Martin Werner

World View story, (Ignorance vs wisdom)
essential tactic to track.
Professor Henry Higgins stopped by for a quick replenishment of his food basic stocks, and another memory card at Bob’s General Store. He had been on the trail for the past week tracking what was reported to be an extraordinarily large Black Bear through the Cowel Redwoods State Park. He was at the counter along with three other campers and a couple of tourists when the impossible happened. An explosion blew off the back of the store. Somehow he survived. The others including Bob were not so lucky. He opened his eyes to see the largest animal, was it even an animal? Bear like, certainly black. He grabbed his camera and began to shoot. The creature, took note, and turned towards him
Henry froze. He needed these pictures, He also needed to live.
The creature turned away and went back to ransacking the foodstuffs scattered about. Sirens sounded and a truck pulled up, A ranger jumped out and seeing the creature pulled a gun and began firing. The bullets had no effect and the creature in three short strides went after the ranger, who was understandably beating a retreat. Henry took the opportunity to take his pictures, and take refuge behind a wrecked display counter. The creature must have caught the ranger as Henry heard screams, which quickly died off. Within minutes more sirens from fire
